Get your motor runnin’

Given this week’s blistering temperatures, we figured this is a good time to shine the ol’ employee spotlight on the woman who keeps our repair operations on task here at Besel’s Home Improvement.

Our Assistant Service Manager Clarkie Fultz fills a role critical to our success and your comfort. For 15 years, she has been dispatching our HVAC repair and plumbing crews throughout our service area. She keeps things running smoothly and for good reason.

Prior to joining Besel’s, Clarkie served for many years as the dispatcher for the seven disposal trucks her husband owned and operated.

Now that she’s with us, her favorite parts of her day are interacting with our crews (or “my men” as she refers to them) and receiving compliments from customers on a job well done. She also really enjoys helping our customers solve their issues.

Beyond “the job”

Clarkie is the engine that keeps the Besel’s machine purring. This makes sense once you understand what a hard core racing fan she is. Clarkie grew up in a racing family; her father was a driver and her brother continues to build show cars. She claims Jeff Gordon as her current favorite on the circuit, is no stranger to the Kansas Speedway, and knows her way around a small-block V8.

Last but not least, family has always been extremely important to Clarkie, we’re reminded, as she proudly recounts how her 12-year-old grandson threw a perfect first pitch right over the plate at this weekend’s T-Bones game.
